We are delighted to offer a range of tours at Wallow Charcuterie, to cater for families, school groups, sports and social outings or simply anyone who wishes to meet our herd of outdoor, free range, pedigree pigs.
Our tours are hosted by Nicola Terry, Mark’s sister, who is a Silver Accredited Tour Guide.

Our family tours are suitable for children of all ages and give you the opportunity to see our piglets, mums, resident boar (Bob) and the rest of our herd and learn some fun facts about our Oxford Sandy and Black pedigree pigs. These tours take place on the weekends in Spring and Autumn when our litters are born; our next farm tours will be starting in October.
This tour lasts approximately 1 hour and includes a charcuterie snack. Cost £7.50 per person, children aged 2 and under free of charge.
For an in depth tour of Wallow, join us for a Farm and Charcuterie Tasting tour; we explain all about our pedigree breeding cycle, what it takes to make a good charcuterie pig, some history of the Oxford, Sandy and Black rare breed and give you an insight into a day in the life of a Wallow pig.
At the end of the tour, we enjoy a tasting platter of salamis, whole muscle cuts and some of our cooked products, eaten rustic style in the fields at the farm.
The tour lasts approximately 1.5 – 2 hours and costs £15 per person.
These tours are run on an ad-hoc basis, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Every Wednesday evening from the 24 April through until 25 September 2019, the team at Wallow Charcuterie, in conjunction with the Imperial Hotel, invite you to join them on their “Pork, Walk and Talk” tour, inspired by the WWII based novel The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
You will have a tour of the Wallow Charcuterie farm, meet our heritage pigs and hear about life at the farm in days gone by. We then take a guided walk to the stunning West Coast where you will see the physical impact of the Occupation and learn about its effects on island life. It’s then a short bus ride to the Imperial Hotel, to enjoy a local artisan Blue Bottle G&T, a Wallow charcuterie tasting board and a delicious sweet potato and Wallow pork “pot pie”.
The tour meets at The Imperial Hotel, Rocquaine Bay, Pleinmont, Torteval (PERRY’S REF 26 A2)
BUS ROUTES: 61, 91, 92, 93 & 94 (please note that the evening finishes at the Imperial Hotel at around 9pm and public buses may not be available at this time)
TIME: For tours running from 3 July until 28 August inclusive – 6.15pm at the Imperial Hotel with transport leaving promptly at 6.30pm to Wallow Charcuterie. Dinner at the Imperial at approximately 8.15pm
